Self-Guided Cycling Tours and Navigation

Explore Estonia on Your Own with Self-Guided Cycling Tours

Navigating while cycling can be a key element in making your journey more enjoyable, whether you're discovering a scenic route, searching for local points of interest, or planning your next stop for food and hydration. In 2024, we’re bringing digital solutions to cyclists across Tallinn and Estonia with our innovative self-guided tours.

How It Works

  1. Route Creation & Mapping We design and map out various cycling routes — from city rides to adventurous forest trails. These routes are first drafted digitally and converted into GPX files, which can be shared across various navigation apps. We use Navicup for precise planning and guidance.

  2. Testing and Refining the Route Mapping the route on a computer is one thing, but riding it is where the real work begins. We take the time to test every route ourselves, using devices like the Garmin Edge 1040 to track performance and make necessary adjustments.

  3. Updating the Map Based on our test rides, we continually update the maps, tweaking the routes for accuracy and usability, so you always get the best experience.

  4. Points of Interest (POI) Every route is enriched with detailed POIs, like popular attractions, restaurants, bike repair shops, and rest areas. We include helpful features like opening hours, links, and photos, ensuring you have all the info you need along the way.

  5. Real-Time Testing Before launch, we give each route a final test, riding it one more time with a charged phone on the handlebars. If needed, we make last-minute updates based on feedback, ensuring an easy-to-follow navigation experience.

  6. Sharing the Route Once everything is polished, we promote the route, offering a free GPX track for download. Our routes come with multilingual audio guides (including English, German, Finnish, and more), allowing cyclists from around the world to enjoy them.

With each route designed to be informative, fun, and easy to follow, cyclists can experience Estonia at their own pace.
